Derwent Hockey Club have a well developed Academy System, relaunched in 2004 by Heath Roberts (who is still actively involved in running this section) to build on the great work of Henry Wallis over the previous decades.

The Academy has many "Graduates" who are now senior team players and academy coaches themselves.

All ages are welcome to come down for a first "taster" session without charge.
